Biography
I fell in love with the Reds as a small boy but it wasn't just the team that stole my heart, it was the place and its people too. My dad had been a Liverpool fan since the 1960s and despite growing up in Kent I quickly followed his lead. I remember my first ever match at Anfield as if it were yesterday: a late David Thompson goal securing a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in April 1998 (Oyvind Leonhardsen had opened the scoring - remember him?). I'm now a regular visitor to both the city and the stadium and I was also fortunate enough to go to both the League and FA Cup finals at Wembley last season.
