Liverpool: Team News 17/18 - West Ham United (Home)
Which players are likely to be unavailable when Liverpool take on West Ham United?...
Right-back Nathaniel Clyne is back in full training after a long-term back injury but a first appearance of the season is unlikely to come just yet as the England international builds up his match fitness.
Bar Clyne, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp will have a fully fit squad to choose from when West Ham United visit Anfield on Saturday.
In a further boost, the spectre of a lengthy ban, which dates back to the beginning of January, has finally lifted from the shoulders of Roberto Firmino after he was cleared by the Football Association following an allegation of racial abuse towards Everton defender Mason Holgate.
Selection wise, with no game played last weekend and nothing upcoming in midweek, Klopp is likely to name a full strength side after a period of regular rotation. The main question mark comes at right-back where Joe Gomez may replace Trent Alexander-Arnold after missing the past two Premier League matches with a knee problem.

Things don't look quite as rosy for the visitors though with former Reds striker Andy Carroll (fractured foot), midfielder Pedro Obiang (knee) and promising Swiss youngster Edimilson Fernandes (ankle) all ruled out.
Hammer boss David Moyes also has to check on the availability of Winston Reid (illness) and Manuel Lanzini (hamstring), while José Fonte is unlikely to be involved ahead of a proposed move to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
Neither side has anyone ruled out through suspension but Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is just one booking away from reaching 10 for the campaign and triggering a two-match ban.
