18 Points For Liverpool To Play For (14/4/17)

18 Points For Liverpool To Play For (14/4/17)

Liverpool have only 18 points left to play for in this year's battle in the Premier League.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Liverpool find themselves heading towards the end of May, Liverpool sit in third place in the Premier League table on 63 points and whilst most would consider the title to be out of reach with us being 12 points behind Chelsea - who also have a game in hand - the runners up spot is arguably within reach as Tottenham sit five points ahead, but again with a game in hand.

Below us are Manchester City by two points, but again with a game in hand on us, the main focus has to be on taking maximum points from each game as it comes and at least solidifying a return to Champions League for the year of 2017/18.

In making sure we achieve that, anything else that follows will take care of itself.
