Liverpool: VL's February 2015 Player Of The Month

Liverpool: VL's February 2015 Player Of The Month

Who has won the Vital Liverpool Player of the Month award for Premier League performances during February 2015?...

During February Liverpool remained unbeaten in the Premier League for a second consecutive month; amassing seven points from a possible nine.

Crucially, the two matches won came against fellow top four contenders Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton, with five goals scored in the process.

The three league fixtures included two clean sheets while there were also two FA Cup victories over Bolton Wanderers and Crystal Palace to celebrate.

On the downside, the Reds crashed out of the Europa League on penalties after two keenly contested legs against Turkish side Basiktas.

With a number of injuries and a hectic schedule to contend with, manager Brendan Rodgers often rotated his troops and it produced some eye-catching contributions from the likes of Jordan Ibe and Mario Balotelli who hadn't figured much previously.

The Vital Liverpool Player of the Month is determined by the individual MOTM awards cast for each Premier League fixture. In the event of no clear winner, the editor has the deciding vote.
