Liverpool: Manchester City v LFC (A) Team News

The line-ups are in ahead of the Premier League fixture between Manchester City and Liverpool at the Etihad tonight...

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers makes two changes to the side that defeated Southampton on opening day.

Left-back Alberto Moreno makes his debut at the expense of fellow Spaniard Javier Manquillo, while Joe Allen replaces Lucas Leiva in midfield.

Opposite number Manuel Pellegrini has resisted the temptation to start Sergio Aguero and sticks with Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko up front.

At the time of writing, a surprisingly high 69% of Vital Liverpool users who voted in our prediction poll have gone for a Liverpool win. 22% have plumped for the Citizens while a further 9% envisage a draw.

The game is scheduled for a 8.00pm BST kick-off and will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports.
