As part of our build-up to Liverpool's fixture with Newcastle United this weekend we've interviewed a Magpies fan for their thoughts on the game...
Saturday's Premier League encounter at St James' Park sees second placed Liverpool visit a Newcastle United side who currently sit 11th.
The Merseysiders, who won 6-0 in the last meeting, will be firm favourites once more having only lost three of the last 14 Premier League matches between the two.
But could the inconsistent Geordies realise their full potential and record a victory?
Talk of the Tyne's Mark Robson gives us his thoughts on this and plenty more besides below:
Q. How has your season started?
We've been a bit hit and miss this time round. A couple of good results mixed with a couple of bad. An already weak squad was weakened further in the Summer but we've been fairly lucky with injuries so far, although our best defender (Fabricio Coloccini) is probably gonna be out. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if we played well on Saturday.
Q. Can Joe Kinnear and Alan Pardew coexist?
Ermmm, basically NO but in the eyes of our owner, YES. It's a strange set up designed to stop any decent money being spent on signings. Pardew wont walk as he'll miss a pay off.
Q. What are your hopes for the season and where do you see yourselves finishing in the league?
My main hope is for Mike Ashley to sell up and leave in order to get some ambition tied to the club again. This lack of ambition clouds the mind to stop me wanting the team to do well - a horrible scenario I know. As for a finishing place, I wouldn't be surprised if we finished top or bottom 5, it's that strange on Tyneside at present.
Q. Who are the Newcastle player(s) we should look out for?
The usual suspects although Yohan Cabaye has a point to prove this season and has been excellent so far. Hatem Ben Arfa is another with a point to prove as he was dropped for the last game. Apart from that, Loic Remy has been on form and Papiss Cisse is desperate for a goal.
Q. What have you made of Liverpool so far this season?
I thought Liverpool looked top 4 certainties until the Southampton game. They seem to be more of a finished article this time round and maybe it's the start of Brendan Rodgers's proper team gelling. You're a much better team to watch than the Swansea team he had.
Q. Where do you see Liverpool ending up in the league?
I reckon yous will be in or around the Champions League spots if you keep Luis Suarez injury/suspension free.
Q. Which Liverpool player(s) do you rate the most and why?
Probably Steven Gerrard for the aura he has over the club. We had it with Alan Shearer and he guaranteed us a certain amount of extra points a season because of his ability as a captain. It lifts not only the team but the fans and when he didn't play, we didn't.
Q. What is your probable line up for the game?
Krul, Debuchy, S. Taylor, Williamson, Santon, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Cabaye, Sissoko, Gouffran, Cisse.
Q. How do you think you can be successful against Liverpool?
If we play to our strengths and pass the ball around, nee humping it long or standing off players either, then we'll do a lot better than last year when half the team gave up after 20 minutes. That 'hammering' will be used as an incentive for the team this time round and should add an extra percentage to our game. Our chances will improve if Coloccini is passed fit and he organises the defence properly.
Q. What's your prediction for the result?
A big thing has been made of the fact there's been no 0-0's for ages and it's the second highest scoring set of games in Premier League history, so a 0-0 is on the cards. I'm going for 2-2 though.
