Kop boss Brendan Rodgers has declared himself happy with the club's start to the season but refused to get carried away...
Liverpool's 100% start to the new Premier League season has filled plenty of column inches and resulted in many observers tipping the Reds for a successful season.
The league leaders have recorded three wins from three, including victory over defending champions and bitter rivals Manchester United, to mark their best start to a campaign since 1994.
A clean sheet in each one of the games and progress in the Capital One Cup have further added to a growing sense of optimism on Merseyside.
However, Rodgers is adamant nobody at the club will be getting carried away by the situation.
"It's been a great start for us but we can't get carried away," explained the 40-year-old to the Liverpool Echo.
"We had a difficult start to last season but since January our form has been outstanding.
"I have to say the players have been magnificent with the work they have put in.
"We had a really good pre-season when we had the whole squad together working well and that ensured we were well prepared."
One of the keys to achieving success has always been hard work and Rodgers is insistent his troops continue to fight as the season unfolds.
"If you work your socks off then talent comes through and we need to keep working in this way going forward," continued the ex-Chelsea coach.
"The players have already demonstrated so far this season that they have that resilience to keep fighting and persevere to get the result.
"There is a long way to go this season but we're really looking forward to the challenge."
Liverpool's next fixture is against Rodgers' old club Swansea City on Monday 16th September at 8pm BST.
