Liverpool left-back Jack Robinson has been called into Stuart Pearce's U21 squad for this summer's European Championship in Israel.
The Anfield youngster received a promotion from the U20 ranks after Southampton's Luke Shaw had to withdraw through a back injury.
There was also an alteration in midfield with Birmingham City winger Nathan Redmond replacing Andros Townsend after the Spurs man was charged with an alleged breach of betting rules.
Robinson's inclusion, added to the selections of Jordan Henderson, Jonjo Shelvey and Andre Wisdom, takes the club's tally in Pearce's squad to four.
Previously the 19-year-old, alongside Kop colleagues Conor Coady and Jon Flanagan, had been part of the England U20 setup preparing for an U20 FIFA World Cup in Turkey.
Robinson, who finished the domestic season on-loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, shouldn't be fazed by the prospect however after featuring in several previous squads at the level and earning four caps.
The junior Three Lions go into the tournament off the back of an amazing run of nine straight victories without conceding a goal.
England's campaign starts with a game against Italy on June 5th and their group also contains Norway and the hosts Israel.
