Liverpool: November's Player Of The Month

Liverpool: November's Player Of The Month

Who has won the Vital Liverpool Player Of The Month award for Premier League performances during November?

November was an up-and-down month in the Premier League for Liverpool FC. From five games played Brendan Rodgers and his team won one, lost one and drew three.

As in previous months performances were generally of a good standard but without the ultimate reward of victory on a consistent basis.

Two players in particular stood out; Luis Suarez and Jose Enrique.

Suarez, who picked up two individual Man Of The Match awards, was again the club's top scorer with four goals in the five games to take his league tally to ten for the current campaign. The Uruguayan's goal against Newcastle United in particular will live long in the memory and provides a serious early contender for goal of the season.

There can only be one winner however and perhaps surprisingly that accolade belongs to Enrique.

The Spanish left-back, who due to a combination of injury and being out of favour had barely featured under Rodgers previously, burst back onto the scene during November with a series of quality displays from a more attacking position.

The 26-year-old scored his first goal for the club during the victory over Wigan Athletic and generally impressed with his enthusiasm, commitment and directness. Enrique won three individual Man Of The Match awards and finished runner-up in another.

November's Vital Liverpool Player Of The Month as voted for by site users is JOSE ENRIQUE
