Liverpool: Ready To Return

The hopes of a top four finish have taken a boost with the news that Glen Johnson could return for Liverpool on Monday. The right back returned to full training this week and is likely to be in the squad for the match at Wigan tomorrow, as Rafa explained:

'He trained on Friday. It was a full training session and I think he will be okay to go in the squad for Wigan.

'The players we have coming back now can have an influence on the run-in.'

In my honest opinion I'm not sure that Rafa will pitch Glen straight back into the side right away as that isn't really the way of the Reds Boss. However I'd expect the England international to take up a place on the substitutes bench and have some involvement in the match perhaps? We're gradually getting back to full strength and this can only help our top four chances and be a setback for our rivals.
