Liverpool: Going Somewhere

Tom Hicks might've said that no stars would be leaving Liverpool, even if we do crash out of the Champions League, but one "star" that will be leaving is Andrea Dossena. I think that we all know that the Italian will leave and I also think that we'd all be in agreement that he'll not really be missed that much when he does leave Anfield, so long as we get a decent chunk of the £7m we paid back.

The defender claims that Napoli, who his agent has denied a deal has been agreed with, Juventus, who were believed to be interest last summer and he claims come close to signing him, and AC Milan are all interested in him, as he explained:

'I know that three big Serie A clubs - Napoli, Juventus and Milan - are looking at me.

'In August they just made other choices. I was very close to going to Juventus in the summer but they signed Fabio Grosso.

'I am now worried I will miss the World Cup.'

I think that Dossena does deserve some credit though as he didn't attack Rafa at all and says that they've not fallen out and he's actually disappointed with his own performances as the real Dossena hasn't been seen on Merseyside, as he also explained:

'In truth I am a little bit unhappy with my performances. They have not seen the 'real' Dossena at Anfield.'

The rumour surrounding the Italian international is most likely going to continue until he finally does leave in January and leaving is something that needs to happen for the best of everyone concerned.
