Rumours - Nikolaj Kohlert Signing?

Nikolaj Kohlert is one of the countless names rumoured to be joining Liverpool this summer and rumour now has it, from his agent anyway, that a deal is on the verge of being completed. Allan Nielsen, the midfielder's agent, has said that talks will take place today, as he explained to Sky Sports:

'I can say as much as there will be a meeting in Liverpool today. The only thing remaining is the personal contract.

'I see no immediate problems in the clubs agreeing. There should be no problems at all but last but not least, it will be up to Esbjerg. But I am sure this will be no problem.'

Nielsen says that the 16 year old will join the Reds academy from Esbjerg before moving onto become a professional with the club and then onto reserve level in the not to distant future.

I'm sick of signing 'starlets'. Not one of them with the possible exception of Insua has broken through to be a first team regular over the last few years. Even pre-season is creating an awful sense of deja vu as it's the same names: spearing; darby; kelly; pacheco and nemeth being touted. Difficult now to remember the ripple of excitement about the place when you realise there's a gerrard / owen / carragher / fowler on the horizon...

Another 16 year old, I wouldn't be suprised if Rafa opens a youth club at Kirby. We must have the biggest bunch of teenage starlets in Europe. Hope my scepticism is unfounded.
