Bookie's Stop Betting On Rafa Exit
There was cause for concern for Liverpool fans everywhere today after major bookmakers skybet and william hill both suspended people taking bets for Reds gaffer Rafael Benitez to quit Anfield.
Negototaion's over Rafael Benitez' contract have struggled to progress in recent weeks which has led to speculation that the Spaniard may be ready to walk out of Anfield. Disputes with the clubs owners have reportedly nearly hit breaking point and it was reported that Benitez had walked out of the clubs hotel in Madrid this morning. However this allegation has since been denied by Liverpool Football Club.
Personal terms had previously been agreed between the club and Rafa but those negotations seem to have deteriated.
Liverpool fans will no doubt eagerly be waiting to hear the outcome (myself included) of this ongoing saga and hope that the dispute won't affect tonights game at the Santiago Bernabeu as we look to progress in the Champions League.
